Schoorl is known for its breathtaking nature. Take cycling trips through the beautiful old forests, walk through the wide dunes or ride along the sea on horseback. From the holiday park, you can reach the water in 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bike. On the way, you will also pass the Schoorl Dunes, where you can enjoy hiking or mountain biking. The North Sea Route LF1, a 330 km cycling route parallel to the Dutch coast, is also nearby. The city of Alkmaar invites you for a day out. Alkmaar is known for its cheese. Visit the Dutch Cheese Museum or just stroll through the beautiful city centre. Visit Broeker Veiling, the oldest vegetable auction house in the world. It is now a museum and shows how vegetables used to be traded from boats.
