Rent one from the park's bike rental and enjoy cycling along the various nature reserves in the area.

Near the adventure island and the natural pool, there is a kiosk (seasonal opening hours) where you can buy toys, ice cream, smoothies, drinks or coffee and cake. If you have something to celebrate, during your stay you can order a cream cake made by the local baker to be delivered to your bungalow.

Are you a nature lover? Then Landal Orveltermarke is the right place for you. With various walking and cycling routes in the area, you can go either way. The Ter Hosterzand nature reserve, Orvelterzand and Sleenerzand forestry are close by. You can soak up culture in the museum village of Orvelte, about 2 kilometres from Landal Orveltermarke. This typical village in Drenthe gives you a good idea of what it was like 100 years ago. A visit to Ellert and Brammert is also highly recommended. In this open-air museum you will see historic huts and cottages, a toll house and sod huts. On holiday with children? Then take them to Outdoor Grollo Klimpark, Plopsa Indoor Coevorden or the Emmen Zoo. Shopping enthusiasts hit the shops of Assen, 22 km away. Visit the face of the city, Bartje, and visit the Drents Museum.
