The charming fishing village of Breskens is located on the south side of the estuary of the Westerschelde, where the river flows into the North Sea. Admire the Breskens lighthouse, the Risseeuw windmills and visit the Fisheries Museum. Also visit the regional markets in Sluis (13 km), Hulst (50 km) and Oostburg (12 km). Shopping enthusiasts get their money's worth here, as shops in these towns are also open on Sundays. Take the cycle ferry (approx. 30 min), which is worth a trip in itself, to Vlissingen. Stroll along the 2 km long promenade with numerous restaurants and terraces. The family park De Kanovijver offers fun for the whole family.
